Temporary Setback. Still Moving Forward.

Racing is never just about what happens on track. Sometimes the hardest moments come away from it.

Mila has picked up a wrist injury that will require some time off driving while it heals. It is frustrating, disappointing, and not how anyone wants momentum interrupted, but it is being managed properly with medical advice and a clear recovery plan in place.

The focus right now is simple
Heal properly
Protect long term development
Return stronger, not rushed

Karting careers are built over years, not weekends. This pause does not change the goals or the direction. If anything, it reinforces the importance of resilience, patience, and doing things the right way.

Mila is still involved, still learning, still analysing races, and still staying connected to the sport while recovery comes first. The helmet may be off for a short while, but the mindset has not changed.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, offered support, and respected the space needed to recover properly. This is a setback, not a stop.

We will be back.

P3 Junior Light Championship Finish at GKC

Finishing P3 in the Junior Light Championship at Geelong Kart Club wraps up a huge season of learning, consistency, and hard racing.

Across the 2025 season, Mila competed against a deep and competitive Junior Light field, delivering strong results round after round and securing third overall in the club championship. This result reflects not just podium pace, but the ability to turn up every race day, adapt to changing conditions, and keep collecting points when it mattered.

What this result means

  • Third overall in the Junior Light Championship
  • Multiple podium finishes across the season
  • Consistent finals appearances
  • Valuable race craft gained in close competition

Geelong Kart Club is known for producing tough racing and strong drivers, so finishing on the championship podium is something to be proud of. It shows progress, resilience, and a clear step forward in Mila’s development as a driver.

A big thank you goes to the officials, volunteers, competitors, and everyone at GKC who makes club racing such a strong environment for young drivers to grow.

This season ends with a trophy. The next one starts with bigger goals and more work to do.
